AZOFER

This biofertilizer is a 100% biological concentrate of the nitrogen fixing bacteria Azospirillum brailense. These microorganisms act as small nitrogen producing factories that fertilize plants naturally. These bacteria provide an integral effect on crops, as they not only provide nutritional effects but improve crop health and quality.

These bacteria inhabit the soil near the plants roots where they establish a mutually beneficial relationship (symbiosis) with said roots. In this relationship, plants feed the bacteria and in exchange bacteria provide the following benefits:

1. Natural fertilization, by capturing Nitrogen which is abundant in the air and transforming it in to nitrogenated fertilizer in a process known as Nitrogen fixation.
2. Protection against pests and disease, by stimulating the plants natural defenses and by competing with other soil bacteria capable of producing disease (pathogenic bacteria).
3. Stimulating plant growth, by producing phytohormones that stimulate root, shoot, leaf and fruit development.

Azofer is the product of more than 30 years research done in the National Autonomous University of Mexico, during which highly productive and competitive strains were selected. The bacteria are cultured with state-of-the-art technology that allows reproduction in very high concentrations and in conditions of total innocuity that guarantee a high-quality product that is harmless to people and beneficial for the environment.
